«Mi sei apparsa in sogno due volte. Un uomo ti ha portata a me avvolta in una stoffa di seta e mi ha detto: “È tua moglie”. Ho srotolato la stoffa di seta e, sorpresa, eri te! Mi sono detto che se questo sogno viene da Allah, ebbene si realizzerà.»
Quando Aisha arrivò a Medina all'età di otto anni, a causa di una malattia perse tutti i capelli. Maometto preferì che restasse a casa dei suoi genitori fino a che non si fosse ristabilita per poi procedere a consumare il matrimonio.
Un giorno, recandosi in visita a casa di Abu Bakr, Maometto si rese conto che Aisha si era ristabilita e i suoi capelli erano ricresciuti. Lui la osservò e la trovò bella e desiderabile sessualmente. (…) Aisha non capiva cosa stesse accadendo. A nove anni non era abituata a stare senza la mamma. La storia di Aisha, la moglie-bambina di Maometto

Nel 620, quando Maometto aveva 50 anni, sposò una bambina di appena 6 anni, Aisha, la figlioletta minore del suo miglior amico Abu Bakr, con cui consumò il matrimonio quando lei compì i 9 anni. (…) A sei anni Aisha, come tutte le bambine, amava ascoltare le storielle. Maometto un giorno le raccontò:
«Mi sei apparsa in sogno due volte. Un uomo ti ha portata a me avvolta in una stoffa di seta e mi ha detto: “È tua moglie”. Ho srotolato la stoffa di seta e, sorpresa, eri te! Mi sono detto che se questo sogno viene da Allah, ebbene si realizzerà.»
Quando Aisha arrivò a Medina all'età di otto anni, a causa di una malattia perse tutti i capelli. Maometto preferì che restasse a casa dei suoi genitori fino a che non si fosse ristabilita per poi procedere a consumare il matrimonio.
Un giorno, recandosi in visita a casa di Abu Bakr, Maometto si rese conto che Aisha si era ristabilita e i suoi capelli erano ricresciuti. Lui la osservò e la trovò bella e desiderabile sessualmente. (…) Aisha non capiva cosa stesse accadendo. A nove anni non era abituata a stare senza la mamma. Si meravigliò quando la mamma la lasciò sola con le donne medinesi, che si misero a lavarla, truccarla e profumarla senza dirle niente di ciò che le sarebbe capitato. (…) Aisha rimase perplessa e attonita quando la madre, dopo aver introdotto Maometto nella stanza, se ne andò lasciandoli soli, lanciando un sorriso all'indirizzo della figliola e invocando Allah affinché la benedicesse. Non capì perché Maometto avanzò verso di lei, rimase esterrefatta quando lui prese a spogliarla trattandosi di un uomo che non faceva parte della sua famiglia. Subì senza fiatare, come un trauma consumato in silenzio, la sua prima deflorazione ad opera di un uomo che era più grande di suo padre.
Come accade nei traumi subiti in un ambito familiare, dove sono gli stessi genitori a praticare o a consentire la violenza sui propri figli, Aisha continuò pubblicamente a comportarsi da bambina senza dire niente a nessuno, metabolizzando inconsciamente quella violenza sessuale incompatibile con la sua tenera età, mostrandosi pubblicamente come se nulla fosse successo. Quando Maometto, trattandosi ormai di sua moglie, assegnò ad Aisha una delle case che aveva fatto costruire nei pressi della propria casa e della moschea, lei riprese a giocare con le altre bambine e amava più di ogni altra cosa giocare con delle pezze di stoffa concepite come delle bambole da curare, cullare, abbracciare, donare amore e sentirsi amata.
